Meet Ryder!

Meet one-year-old Ryder. He was born prematurely and was in intensive care for over two months. He was diagnosed with numerous illnesses, including Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. He cannot stand without assistance and crawls to be independent. Ryder is working hard to get stronger, though. He is a happy boy despite these and other struggles.

Ryder has many interests. He listens to music that inspires him to dance. He enjoys looking at books with adorable cows. Ryder has fun taking strolls through his neighborhood or playing on the swings at a park. He also loves crawling around to explore the nooks and crannies at his house. Ryder, more importantly, is beautiful. He has long eyelashes, bright blue eyes, and curly blond hair—people smile just looking at him! He never fusses even during hard times. He is learning to give hugs and will randomly give one to anyone! Meet Ryder. He is the best cure for a bad day!

Ryder needed a stander to help him exercise his legs so he can stand and walk. Thanks to a grant through Scaife, we were able to help Ryder obtain the stander that he needed!
