Meet Savanna!
Meet 11-year-old Savanna. She was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, epilepsy, developmental delay, and many more conditions. She is unable to walk and has little upper-body muscle control. She has other challenges but remains joyful.
Savanna’s interests are limited. She likes things with bright colors. Savanna has an Avent pacifier that never leaves her side. Savanna, even though she likes her personal space, is very much loved and adored, especially by her four devoted siblings. She also has a silly sense of humor and randomly lets out a belly laugh that can bring down the house. Savanna has more trials than can be described, but she still laughs at nothing at all. In this way, Savanna is an inspiration to us all.
Savanna needed a medical stroller to provide her with proper support and comfort during transportation. Her previous stroller was too small and painful to use. Thanks to a grant from Shirakiku, Wheelchairs 4 Kids was able to help assist Savanna obtain the medical stroller she desperately needed!
