MEET SOFIA!
Meet six-year-old Sofia. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Sofia can walk and stand on her own, but she tires easily and has to rest. She is a high-spirited and joyful girl despite an illness that tries slowing her down.
Sofia has an array of interests. She is a fan of the classic gameshow, Family Feud. She listens to music ranging from nursery rhymes to Bon Jovi. She likes going to zoos and looking at the graceful giraffes, but her favorite animal by far is a loyal chihuahua that never leaves the girl’s side. Sofia is best known to have a strong personality. Sofia is opinionated and speaks her mind with fierce determination, even though she can only communicate with sign language and technology. She is clearly fearless. She does not overcome her limitations. She dominates them!
Sofia needs an adaptive tricycle to improve her leg strength, balance, and endurance. She will have fun riding the trike outdoors while getting the important exercise. Please be her sponsor!
